2025 has definitely marked a shift from simple ivory candles to incorporating colored tapers into centerpiece design and we’re loving it.

For this table, baby blue candles paired with bud vases and soft florals created an elevated, finished look with just the right pop of color to make the entire tablescape feel intentional and upscale.

Have you ever wondered how much time actually goes into creating a wedding?

For my first wedding on Nantucket, I estimated around 189 hours of hands-on work, not including the sleepless nights spent reworking logistics or the endless inspiration rabbit holes until everything finally clicks.

Here’s a breakdown of what that looked like:
Before the Wedding • Initial call: 15 minutes • Pulling inspo: endless  • Design & proposal: 45 hours • Adjustments: ~ 3 hours • Site Tour: 12 hours • Pre-wedding prep: ~ 5 hours
* Creating recipes & counting every stem
* Visiting the flower market
* Submitting final orders • Total before wedding week: ~80 hours

Wedding Week • Flowers delivered on my 30th birthday 🌸 • Wednesday [6/18]: 11 hours • Thursday: 16 hours • Friday: Travel, All Day starting at 4 am
 • Saturday: Wedding, All Day starting at 5am  • Sunday: Breakdown & travel home • Total wedding week: ~99 hours

I love having the opportunity to create artistic statement pieces.

This bar arrangement was filled with large calla lilies, amaranthus, branches, and vines, making it a true standout moment for the event.

This past year I’ve stepped more into a designer role. It’s never been just about flowers for me, it’s about pushing limits and expanding my mix of textures, fabrics, and colors.

start to finish, I designed every detail from building the mood board, sourcing fabrics, draping the table, tying oversized bows, to crafting custom menus that felt deeply personal.

a concentrated runner of varying-height candles lined the center, drawing everyone in and setting an intimate tone for the evening.

every element was layered, soft, and intentional, a quiet kind of luxury.

Maybe it’s because I’ve been watching all the Fast & Furious movies for the first time… 
but as I step into this next chapter of life, one thing is clear, “I don’t got friends, I got family.” - Toretto

The Details

Creating this entire look took hours of pulling inspiration and combining different elements to make it my own. From visiting the venue, getting exact measurements, and seeing how existing features, like the candles built into the walls, would play a part in the design.

Then came the fun part: • Sourcing multiple layered fabrics
•Designing custom menus •Creating all the arrangements •Finding mirror trays and silver vases for an extra pop

I’m so grateful Robin from @assaggionorthend was there to assist that morning.

Set-up day took four hours for one table draping, unpacking candles without smudging the glass, and building the last minute fresh floral pieces on site.

It takes a lot of effort to look effortless, but I’m beyond grateful I got to spend an incredible night with close friends celebrating my 30th.

Getting the opportunity to do florals for MIT and Harvard at the Museum of Fine Arts has been an absolute dream.

These moss gardens made the perfect artsy centerpiece inside the gallery walls.

Because they’re so delicate, each one had to be built on site prep, install, and broken down all in a day’s work. One of my favorite, most unique looks of the year.

This May gathering bloomed from the theme The Garden Within. Neda’s vision of “taking root” inspired me to design four tree installations by the bar.

For the tables, I used stone compote vases to match the garden feel, complementing the vibrant, colorful wallpaper. At the market, I spotted roses in harmonizing shades they brought the whole room to life in a lush, full bloom.

Grateful to be part of this inspiring community and to keep growing alongside such incredible women.

The bride envisioned a floral moment that felt intimate yet impactful a 4-foot half-moon arrangement that wrapped around their sweetheart table, paired with a soft floral runner of candles and bud vases.

As the focal point of the reception, this design created a romantic frame for the couple and made the most of every photo.

With wedding costs rising across the board, I always help my clients prioritize wow-moments like this where the emotion, visibility, and payoff are highest. Investing in a statement piece for the sweetheart table was a choice that paid off beautifully.

Behind the scenes creating this stunning asymmetrical arch, set against the breathtaking landscape of the lake.

For this design, I wanted to play with bold colors while still keeping everything cohesive. I used color blocking to transition from soft pinks, to whites, to magentas, to deep reds, with hints of green and pops of light pink throughout.

This floral recipe had the largest variety I’ve used in a single recipe yet: featuring lush Dutch hydrangeas, seven different colors and styles of roses, delphinium, allium, amaranthus, snapdragons, rice flowers, scabiosa, butterfly ranunculus, peonies, and anthurium.

I’m always pushing myself to experiment more, with color, height, texture, and movement…this palette is absolutely one of my favorites to date.

As a luxury florist, my biggest advice? Never cut corners when it comes to capturing your wedding day.

When I was little, I used to sneak into the spare bedroom at my grandmother’s house just to watch the VHS footage of my aunt’s wedding. Those memories stuck with me, they’re the kind that keep you going.

Your wedding photos and videos will be the children’s earliest memories of what love is. They’ll be what you turn to when life gets hard.

So find the right photographer, videographer, documentary style artist, content creator whoever fits your vision. Because these moments deserve to be captured forever.

While reviewing a logistics plan, a planner asked if I knew how difficult it was to hang decorations from the ceiling while the caterers would be setting up tables.

With a light smile, I told her I had an idea. 😉This suspended 9-foot baby’s breath cloud floated effortlessly on a trellis, creating a dreamy ambiance over the grand head table.

Below, the bride and groom’s closest family and bridal party dined at a table adorned with elegant white roses, glowing candlelight, and a romantic atmosphere.

International Women’s Day

Women are strong, loving, and capable. We don’t just take on the world, we change it. Together, we uplift and support one another, raising the next generation of creators, innovators, and thought leaders.

I feel incredibly blessed to be surrounded by powerful women in Boston. When we come together, we redefine what’s possible.

There were countless gems shared by the speakers at FFFcon but two insights from Dr. Sara Al Madani stood out:

1. Success is ours to define. My version of success may look completely different from yours, and that’s okay. We are all here to live life on our own terms.

2. Every experience is chosen by our souls. Before we are even born, our souls look ahead and say, “This is the life I choose, with all its highs and lows.” No matter what we go through, each experience is a lesson.

Hearing this felt like a weight lifted off my shoulders. The trials and tribulations, the heartbreaks, they are all part of the journey shaping us into who we are meant to be. We are here to live with purpose and uplift those around us.

In honor of Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day on March 8th, I’m beyond grateful to share space with so many incredible women in my career.

The Fab Fierce Females community is taking Boston by storm in more ways than one. Who struggles with “paralysis by analysis”? 🙋🏽‍♀️

I’m loving everything @melrobbins right now because there are multiple areas in my life causing brain friction.

One of the biggest? My ongoing battle with social media.

I’ve been surrounded by other people’s opinions:
- “What should you post?”
- “What NOT to post—travel, workouts, personal moments?”
- “You should really separate your personal and business pages.”
- “How often should you post?”
- “Are you being intentional, or just chasing impossible engagement numbers?”

All of the above. And the result? Posting less… or not at all.
